Earlier this year Lady Gaga became a new face of Tiffany & Co. and the occasion was marked by a stunning Super Bowl ad (as well as her much-lauded halftime show). And this week the brand continued to build on the superstar singer's Legendary Style campaign by releasing the first print ads of Gaga modeling the new Tiffany HardWear collection.
Gaga shared what she appreciates about the upcoming jewelry line in a statement. “I love Tiffany HardWear because it’s different and elegant—but it’s not what you would expect of elegance. That’s like me I think—I’m a bit different,” she says. “To me, Tiffany is definitive and iconic, yet continues to push and evolve with the times.”
Along with the new ads, Tiffany & Co. dropped a short film in which Gaga discusses "her own creative journey towards self-expression and empowerment."
“I think that jewelry, like all other accessories, can give you the chance to pump up the volume,” she says in the video. “It’s a misconception that a man or your lover has to buy you jewelry,” she says. “I think a woman can buy herself jewelry and put it on with dignity.” Hear, hear!
Tiffany HardWear collection features a variety of 18k gold and sterling silver necklaces, bracelets, rings, and earrings. The line is set to hit stores April 28 and become available online at tiffany.co.uk May 2.
