Fresh from its Isle of Wight move, Bestival organisers have just announced that it will be setting up another festival in Bali.
Earlier this week, festival organiser Rob da Bank tweeted that the festival was on ‘international manoeuvres’ again, after last year’s Canadian counterpart saw Tame Impala headline. Bestival Bali will be hitting the Garuda Wisnu Kencana Cultural Park — which is just over 10km south of Ngurah Rai International Airport — for the weekend September 30 – October 1.
And while a glitzy promo video has been released, details are currently very thin on the ground. However, those interested can sign up to bestivalbali.com for early-access info. But, of course, you will be needing a killer swimsuit for those tropical temps.
This follows the news that its Canadian cousin has been shelved for 2017, after not enough tickets were shifted. It also comes after the news that the UK festival, which is renowned for its fancy dress and unconventional set up, is relocating from Robin Hill on the Isle of Wight to Dorset after 12 years — where The XX, A Tribe Called Quest, The Pet Shop Boys and Justice will take to the stage...

The Bestival Bali line up is expected to be unveiled later this week, but with past UK headliners including The Cure, Bjork, Elton John, Stevie Wonder and Major Lazer, you can expect it to be an eclectic mix of music to suit all tastes.
Let’s just check the work diary and see if the last week in September is free, yeah?
