At London Fashion Week, it's not just the trends on the catwalk fashion editors are looking at. We've also got our eyes on the street stylers to see what's trending, and to discover the pieces that you can get your hands on right now. This year, everyone was a lot more polished and elevated in their looks. Along with tailoring and a lot of kitten heel mules, was also the long sleeve midi length dress.

This stand-out item was super feminine and came in all sorts of prints and fabrics. Floral printed silks were the favourite, inspired by Preen by Thornton Breggazzi (or many of them actually being Preen), and we couldn't help but get straight on our phones to try to shop these.

Another key style was monochrome. This came in two forms: either super silky prints or polka dots, and high street favourites H&M and Topshop were the key brands of choice.

The second, more heavy weight linens in simple cuts with contrasting top stitching, and for this we spotted a tonne of Rejina Pyo, one of our favourite new designers who totally nails this.
Styling tip: For a wintery spin on your dress team with a great pair of heeled ankle boots.
