There are two things we at InStyle are loving at the moment – Preen by Thornton Bregazzi and high street-designer collaborations. So it’s no surprise that we’re excited about the announcement of L.K. Bennett’s first ever ready-to-wear collection with Preen by Thornton Bregazzi, which is launching on the 5th October online and in selected L.K. Bennett stores.
The incredible Preen SS18 show at London Fashion Week, full of dreamy florals, had us eagerly anticipating spring, but a famous and familiar guest at the show has us counting down the days until the 5th October. Olivia Palermo was spotted wearing a piece from the upcoming collection: the stunningly beautiful Valli dress. The dress, a mixture of white lines, florals and bright colours, was described by Preen as a “great example of us drawing on an archive Preen design an adapting it with a new graphic floral print for the L.K. Bennett customer.”

Along with the Valli dress, the collection includes jumpers, we're feeling the simple burgundy and gold Annik (£195) and the royal blue sequinned Patti (£195), as well as skirts like the asymmetrical blue and gold Reed (£195) and the simple black and white Shelly skirt (£195). But, the most exquisite pieces are, of course, the dresses. Beginning with distinctive designs such as the handkerchief inspired Devoto dress (£475) and cultivating in the explosion of sequins that is the incredible Sonic dress (£550) that will have you looking for any excuse to wear it.
