For the last month or so I've been knee-deep in AW17 trends (literally, you should see the inside of our InStyle fashion cupboard - it's rammed!) and one thing that keeps cropping up again and again is unusual bag shapes. From Simon Miller’s top handle buckets to Balenciaga’s supersized triangle bags, the only constant with bags this season is they're a bit, well, weird. And this shape has to be my favourite – and most wearable – of them all: the slouchy loop handle shopper.

First spotted from the likes of Ashish and Moschino, this fun, slightly obscure, style is made up of two slouchy handles that loop through, one inside the other. I'm so obsessed with this slouchy asymmetric style, that I've gone on the hunt for every style I could find. From Mango’s £39.99 black velvet version to Simonetta Ragazzi’s £1,160 fuzzy statement piece, I haven’t left a stone unturned.
I'm going to update my day-to-day jeans and t-shirt with one of these oversized velvet shoppers for a new season spin and, I'm going on holiday in November, so am planning on using COS’ black mesh one as a beach bag for that perfect instagram-worthy vacay look.
