Sienna Miller turned heads with a show-stopping combination of Valentino red gown, lipstick and big, block eyebrows to celebrate the designer's 45 years in fashion. The look was rather Marilyn Monroe-esque with brows shaded at least a few shades darker than her blonde hair colour. This look is not for the faint hearted and should be worn with confidence and a wink of the eye.

Eyebrows are the frames of the face and can be incredibly attention-grabbing if you brush, groom and treat with tender loving care. Thanks to her Brazilian roots, actress Camilla Belle has dark, beautiful brows with a naturally arched shape. Avoid creating an arch in the first half of the eye as it will close your features up. Shape the arch towards the outer corner of the eye instead, like Camilla's, to open up the face.

If your brows are less than impressive, Dubroff suggests shading in with a soft pencil with short, feathery strokes.

Diane Kruger shaded a dark brow in a super-sleek line. Even though she's a blonde, she can afford to step up the shade and make her brows more prominent - this is perfect for the super natural trend that's so fresh and beautiful this season.

Jennifer Connelly was digging the Brooke Shields look as she matched bushy brows with her strong brunette hair colour. If your brows are less than full, you can get a strong base by growing hair back - yes that's right, that means leaving the tweezers alone! Then create an arch towards the end of the shape so the base remains full.
