When news of Rihanna’s debut beauty range came about, the world went a little bit mad. After teasing glimpses of a mysterious holographic lip at the Spring ’17 Fenty x Puma show, everyone wanted to know just how much a make-up line could emulate the essence that is @badgalriri.
We’re so used to seeing her impossibly flawless skin (is she actually human?), plus her lips that suit basically every colour you may throw on them, but we probably didn't realise how much of a beauty geek Rihanna truly is. As someone who’s spent her fair share of time sat in the make-up chair, it’s pretty safe to say that she's fully invested in creating something that works for everything, be it a first date, a lit night, or even just a selfie. Striking that perfect balance between matte and dewy is hard, you guys. This primer actually delivers a velvet matte complexion, which allows for a filter-like effect that doesn’t deaden your skin’s glow.
There’s a shade for everyone and their mother, but this foundation also happens to deliver a lovely soft-focus finish that’s full-coverage without the cake. I’ve been wearing it all day and my skin looks like the most perfect version of itself and is perfect for selfies, but is super full-coverage - so if you like your skin ultra natural, pick a tinted moisturiser from our ultimate edit of the best.
There’s seriously nothing you can’t do with this stick. Highlight, blush, or full out sparkle if you want to go all unicorn. It comes in plenty of flattering shades which are truly lovely, as well as a holographic violet for those days when you’re feeling a little extra. For all your contouring and highlighting needs, the matte sticks glide on and blend like a creamy dream.

Was there ever a more Rih-esque name for a product? We tried both shades: Trophy Wife, a killer golden yellow that really stands out, and Metal Moon, which showed as white in the pan, but transformed into a divine candlelight shade after a few minutes. Sorcery.
