Since 1853, the robin's egg blue Tiffany Blue Box has heralded good things of the jewellery variety, but, come the end of September, Tiffany & Co are introducing a signature fragrance that's designed to be worn to embellish skin and, like the jewels they're so famed for, also comes in one of those iconic, happy-making blue boxes.
In part inspired by the famous 128.54 karat priceless yellow diamond that resides in the 5th Avenue store, the fragrance is designed to sparkle thanks to the fresh green mandarin notes, which gives way to other twinkly facets like precious iris (minus the woody element), and patchouli (but distilled away from the deep oak).
Perfumer Daniela Andrier, who created the scent, took her cue from diamonds and from the impressive history of the house, aiming for a combination that spoke of the timeless and iconic history of Tiffany's, while also bearing the boldness and sensuality inherent in jewels and scent in mind. The result? A crisp, clean, ebullient scent that smells remarkably good on skin.
To launch the new fragrance, Tiffany & Co invited journalists for the breakfast at Tiffany's followed by a tour of the workshop (and session of trying on priceless jewels) followed by a launch party where Zoey Deutch, Riley Keough, Ana de Armas, and gathered beauty journalists watched a set by St. Vincent, who appears in the new adverts singing a rendition of All You Need Is Love. Well, love and a one of those joyous blue boxes, please...
