Anyone who needs a bit of powder on their nose (/chin/forehead/everywhere) will know there is one big problem with setting your make-up with powder: applying it often makes all the lovely work you’ve done on laying down foundation and concealer move around. The end result can be a bit of a mess unless you’re truly brilliant at the make-up artist’s technique of taking a little brush and pressing - not sweeping - powder on.
As per usual, the clever duo behind Real Techniques have homed in on the problem and provided the solution for anyone struggling in the form of their #PowderBleu range. The five brushes and powder puff are all designed to lay down powder products gently without disrupting the make-up underneath.

PowderBleu Soft Powder Brush, £22. The big, tapered head on this is ideal if you want to sweep powdered bronzer across your face for a realistic tan (N.B. This one’s not the best for contouring, more for a gentle wash of colour).
