It wasn’t just all about the well-dressed gals at the BAFTA awards last night, the lads also put in some stellar sartorial work.
Crush of the moment, Timothee Chalamet showed off a Saint Laurent suit as sharp as his bone structure. His black wool suit velvet suit was smoking hot and despite negating a tie his patent boots and contrast lapel brought enough accents to the table.
Someone who also threw caution to the wind and went tie-less – heaven forbid, what would their mothers say? – was the pirate of everyone’s heart, Orlando Bloom. Wearing a completely black look, Orlando looking blooming marvelous in his double-breasted combo.
BAFTA nominee, Jamie Bell flashed his Time’s Up badge, as did Taron Egerton and Chiwetel Ejiofor who made a strong case for his ‘n’ hers tailoring with model girlfriend, Frances Aaternir.
Winner of the Leading Actor award, Gary Oldman also proved once again some things just get better with age. Sporting his trademark facial hair and glasses Gazza kept it pure and simple – but who doesn’t love a classic? His only update was a Time’s Up badge – that’s our lad!
However the best-dressed chap of the evening has to be Eric Underwood who pushed the boundaries with his oversized jacket fastened with a tie-up situation at the side. Dead. Too. Sophisticated. That is HOW to do red carpet dressing as a man.
