Iceland

Opting for a romantic holiday in the breathtaking Icelandic countryside will create a Valentine’s Day never to forget. You can choose from a stunning array of hotels all offering style and intimacy. During the day indulge yourself in the hot springs and visit awe-inspiring natural beauty in the form of fjords, volcanoes and waterfalls. With night comes the opportunity to witness arguably the most beautiful natural wonder on the planet – the aurora borealis. Istanbul, Turkey

Istanbul offers an intoxicating mix of the old and the new. Gambia

Travelling to Africa may not be the first thing that pops into your head for a Valentine’s Day treat, but the blazing sun of Gambia is only a six hour flight from London or Manchester. Most importantly there’s no time difference. Boutique accommodation in former colonial mansions is on offer, as is the backdrop of craggy red-cliffs and wondrous ocean views. Finding a small, secluded beach with the ocean lapping at your feet is what Valentine’s dreams are made of.

Las Vegas

Sin City isn’t the obvious choice, but it’s all about what you want. Vegas has so much on offer from world-renowned stage shows, glamorous casinos, grand hotels and luxurious living making anytime spent their unforgettable. And if you get even more loved up while away there’s always the opportunity to visit of one the city’s many wedding chapels.

Siena, Italy

Set back in the Tuscan hills, Siena has retained much in the way of its authentic culture. It’s everything you’d expect from a break in Italy. Beautiful scenery, fantastic food and delicious local wine. Throw in some moonlight strolls around the town’s meandering streets and the perfect Valentine’s experience could be on the cards.
