SNEAK PEEK: Madonna's Material Girl clothing line

Prepare to be jealous of teenage girls when they start stepping out in Madonna’s debut clothing line, Material Girl.

The pop icon’s debut clothing line comes out this summer and we have the first set of sketches just for you.

The Material Girl collection is a collaboration with Madonna and daughter Lourdes and it will hit American department store Macy’s in August. These sketches give you a sneak peek into how Madge thinks girls of today should express themselves.

The line is intended for the ‘spontaneous and fearless individual who invents her own fashion trends and is never afraid to make a bold, creative statement.’

Madonna is launching her own style empire, called MG Icon. Material Girl is her first venture and she called on her teenage daughter Lourdes to help her create the designs.

The line also features bags, shoes, leggings, leather jackets with fringe, short frilly skirts, graphic tees and bustiers, yes bustiers! Everything has a very 80s look.

Prices will be between $12 and $40 and will hit Macy’s in New York August 2010.
