Lady GaGa scores number one chart double

Lady GaGa had a double number one whammy yesterday as both her current single, Telephone featuring Beyonce and her album, The Fame Monster hit the number one spots in the singles and album charts.

When the Telephone promo video hit Youtube it racked up an astonishing 13 million views in just three days. The clip is over nine minutes long and follows GaGa as she serves a spell in (a very stylish) prison, then heads takes to the road with Beyonce and accidentally commits a mass murder.
Late yesterday evening Lady GaGa tweeted to her twitter followers: “TELEPHONE WENT #1 IN THE UK! + THE ALBUM FAME MONSTER WENT #1 UK,” adding "WE DID IT HONEY B! LOVE + KISSES TO OUR FANS, WE COULDNT DO IT WITHOUT U.”
GaGa tipped Tinie Tempah off the top spot to number two while Rihanna's Rude Boy went to number three.
