Lady GaGa receives the Stylemaker Award – in her craziest outfit yet!

Last night Lady GaGa joined a throng of New York fashionistas at the Accessories Council Excellence Awards, where she accepted the Stylemaker Award, presented by Marc Jacobs. And the singer made an extra special effort not to be outshone on the red carpet.

While her outfit of a black button down shirt worn with bullet bra over the top, hot pants and vertiginous mint-green shoes were outrageous enough, it was GaGa's headwear that really took her look from seriously kooky to absolutely extraordinary.
The singer, whose extensive wardrobe of wigs means she can get a hairstyle makeover at the flick of a toupe, donned her most outrageous hair look yet. This bouffant Marie Antoinette-style 'do added serious volume to her locks.
Gaga partially concealed her face with a lace veil and the whole lot was topped off with a black beaded crown.
We can't help but wonder what direction her utterly unique fashion sense will take next... Watch this space!
