Celeb pics: Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt glam up the NYFCC awards

Hollywood royalty including Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie, Meryl Streep and Jessica Chastain hit the New York Film Critics Circle 77th annual awards

Old-school Hollywood glam was the order of the day at the New York Film Critics Circle awards last night, with Angelina Jolie and Jessica Chastain upping the style stakes.

The Help actress Jessica wore a shimmering Lyn Devon dress with peep-toe Jimmy Choo heels and jewels courtesy of Harry Winston to receive her Best Supporting Actress award.

Angelina channelled sophisticated chic in a Salvatore Ferragamo leather skirt and a cream silk top, also by Ferragamo, perfecting the look with emerald jewellery and a black boxy clutch.

Also in attendance were Ange’s other half Brad Pitt, still sporting the cane he acquired after a fall, Robert De Niro, and filmmaker Francis Ford Coppola.

Jessica’s The Help co-star Viola Davis, presented the best actress award to Meryl Streep, and wore a pink and silver embellished dress, complete with her husband’s tux jacket to keep warm on a chilly New York evening.
