The couple's spokesperson announced the happy news via Twitter this morning.

'Kris Smith and Dannii Minogue are thrilled to announce the arrival of Ethan Edward Smith on 5 July 2010,’ said the first tweet.
Shortly followed by: ‘Mother and baby are doing well and Dad is very proud. They request their privacy at this special time to adjust as new parents.’
The X Factor judge and her rugby player boyfriend Kris Smith, who announced the pregnancy together back in January, have welcomed their son in Dannii's hometown of Melbourne.
Danni’s popstar sister, Auntie Kylie, is currently travelling on a promotional tour for her new album Aphrodite but is expected to fly home later this month to meet her new nephew.
