Agyness Deyn gets lashed in New York

Lady Gaga wasn’t the only star to take our breath away at the Accessories Council of Excellence Awards in NYC on Monday night – Agyness Deyn also revelled in a bit of post-Halloween gothicry.

With her super-shiny black mini-bob looking fabulous and spectacularly accessorised with so-on-trend-it-hurts statement false lashes, Agyness looked gorgeous in a black suit, black ankle boots and statement bangles.
A bit of eyelash adornment is the biggest beauty trend right now, from a full Cheryl Cole-esque flutter (Girls Aloud have their own range of false eyelashes) to pearl and diamanté adornment à la the Chanel S/S 2010 catwalk show.

Aggy opted for a wow set of black feathery under-lashes – inspired by Twiggy’s 60s look, the lashes go modern by going BIG (not for the faint of heart!). Aggy wisely kept the rest of her make-up super-simple, with glowing skin, a touch of peach blusher and shimmery nude lipstick, to make the eyes the focus.
