Who does it: Madonna
What it involves: Madonna is one of the most famous advocates of this low-fat, high fibre diet that focuses on mainly vegetarian food and vegetables and includes plenty of soy. The diet was dreamt up by a Japanese educator and includes daily doses of miso or shoyu soup, seeds and nuts in moderation and tofu. Whole grains typically make up 50 – 60% of each meal. It's low in saturated fats, meat, dairy products and sugar. It's a tricky one to keep to without a live in chef like Madge, and you have to be careful you consume enough protein, vitamin B12, magnesium and calcium.
