The happy couple went to town on the New York-New York theme, with stationery (designed by Darren's brother Steven Sims), I Love NY bags for the cake, yellow school buses to transport guests from the church — St Bartholomew's on Park Avenue, next door to the Waldorf Astoria — to the reception, artwork of the Brooklyn Bridge and tables named after areas of Manhattan.
