Some of Hollywood's A-list turned out to the screening party for the film, starring Charlize Theron, Ray Liotta, Michelle Rodriguez, and Martin Henderson. Battle In Seattle takes an in-depth look at the five days that rocked the world in 1999 as tens of thousands of demonstrators took to the streets in protest on the World Trade Organization. Stuart Townsend, writer & director (and Charlize's longtime boyfriend), intertwines different points of view from different members of society who find themselves on the streets of Seattle, and uses dramatic theatrical performances and actual footage of the real event to bring these contrasting view-points to the screen.
