The low-down: George Clooney's suave performance in the title role of this serious movie helped it tally seven Oscar nominations (a number equalled only by Atonement). As the brooding attorney with grave responsibilities, George managed to look sexy throughout a film that questioned age, corruption and truth. It's hard to even remember when he was every lady's favourite ER doctor. This is one smart man who has the world at his feet.
Red carpet style: Gorgeous George is a big fan of Giorgio Armani, and he's also a friend of the family, having spent most of last year's Cannes Film Festival swanning around with Roberta Armani, niece of Giorgio. Expect to see him perfectly turned-out in Italian threads.
