Victoria Beckham is, without a doubt, one of the best dressed women in the world so whenever she debuts a new collection, we listen up. Of course, she has her high-end collections which she religiously shows in New York every February and September during Fashion Week, but her latest collection for the labels sister line, Victoria, Victoria Beckham, has to be one of her most sartorially daring collections to date. And, what's more, it's more affordable than her mainline collection.

Last month, the 41-year-old designer announced that she was set to merge her Victoria Beckham Denim with the diffusion line in question and, if we're honest, we wondered how that was going to work. Serving two very different purposes, it was hard to imagine how she was going to seamlessly blend them together. However, in what seems to be a very easy transition, she's managed to do just that.

Instead of merely box-ticking and including a pair of fail-safe skinnies in the collection, she's totally reinvented everything we thought we knew about denim. From crop trapeze jackets to flower embossed high-waist trousers, she's elevated the everyday wardrobe staple to chic, never-before-realised heights.

However, this collection is not about pretence. In fact, it's one of her most playful lines yet. Looking to the design legacy of the circus, VB drew inspiration from the striking colour combinations and graphic motifs of the fun at the fair and contrasted them with bold cutting techniques and innovative fabrics to create a visually stunning capsule collection for the modern woman.

Speaking about her new line, Victoria said: 'I wanted this collection to offer versatility, as we broaden the label to reflect the complex lives of the VVB girls. I travel a lot and so do my customers – with this other side of my wardrobe, it’s important to keep things easy and wearable as well as fun.'

We don't know about you, but we think she's done just that. And, as an added bonus, prices start from a very affordable £145.
