There's no denying the fact that, no matter how flush the person, everyone loves a ruddy bargain and now that the festive sales are in full-swing, there's plenty of those to be had.

What a lot of people DON'T realise is that due to the fairly warm weather we've had on the run-up to Crimbo, many of the trends we clocked at SS15 Fashion Month back in September had already started tricking into stores and have also been given the discounted treatment before their time...

So, this means you can start building up your spring '15 wardrobe with the trends that really matter on the serious cheap. Who doesn't want that, huh?

Not sure where to start? Don't worry, we've got you totally covered on that front, too.

We've rounded up the biggest trends of next season that we think you need to know about and have given you a heads up on the brands that have already nailed them. Welcomes!

That '70s Show
From bell-bottom flares to stacked platform heels, all-things retro will make a big appearance come March; and, it just so happens to have been on of the most noteworthy trends of this season too. We recommend stocking up on as much pussybow blouses, wide trousers and fringed staples as you possible can; you're certainly going to get the wear of them.

Blown-Up Blooms
Just when we thought we knew everything about Springtime florals, Victoria Beckham has gone and given us this; supersize florals. Steer clear of ditzy motifs; the cleaner the shape, the better. Pair with pastel pointed loafers and you're good to go.

Prima Ballerina Tulle
When Burberry talks, we listen and what they've said is tulle is where it's at. Teamed with off-beat denim jackets, tulle dresses and skirts have never looked cooler and we can't wait to get in on the action. Unsurprisingly, tulle is a HUGE partywear trend so there's bound to be hoards of it hitting the sales racks as we speak. The key to making it work for next year is by pairing it with very unexpected and very casual separates.

Military Precision
Another huge AW14 trend sticking around for another season is refined military. From clean silk shirts with double pockets to straight-pleat skirts in khaki and mud tones, utility dressing has never looked quite so grown-up as now. For a fresh update, get your hands on Whistles' discounted lilac straight culottes and wrap top combo or seek out fresh white box jackets and side-pocket trousers.
