Tis the season to be jolly; so why try to resist the red festive knit.
We just can't resist. It's that time again where we really don't want to be sucked in on Christmas jumper day, but it's just too much fun and for a good cause, so we can't! It's best to get in their early and get the good ones before they're gone. Trust us... they're getting chicer every year. We’re not spoilsports or anything, but irony levels reached a maximum high last year (thanks for that, hipsters), and even though we’ve got a sense of humour and we LOVE Christmas, we’d have been quite happy to have never seen an intarsia snowman on a jumper being worn by a handsome bearded man ever again. And don’t even get us started on argyle print onesies…
But – and we can't believe it either – it’s that time of year again. The weather's getting colder and as we all know, the second Halloween is over on November 1st, it’s basically Christmas. This year though, we’re going chic rather than novelty when it comes to our Christmas jumpers. Bella Freud and Chinti & Parker are the obvious knitwear choices — Chinti's Joy jumper or their red and stars stripe version will see you through numerous Christmas party seasons. Whilst, if you are just in it for the fun, and genuinely won't wear the jumper again- Notonthehighstreet.com have some great ones for a bargain.
We’ve found loads more simple designs that will have you staying on the classy side of Christmas too, whether it’s Toast's red number or M&S star print knit. So, don't fight it, people - throw on a jumper, pile some logs on the fire, down a glass of vino, post snap of you in your seasonal sweater on Instagram and start using all those emojis you only get to use at this time of year. #christmasjumpers #keepitclassy
