Celebrities are getting meta with their wardrobe choices

Ryan Gosling and Macaulay Culkin were clearly on to something, even back in 2014. In case you’d forgotten, it all started with Ryan wearing a t-shirt of Macaulay Culkin at a petrol station in 2013. One year later, Macaulay tweeted a picture of - wait for it - himself wearing a t-shirt of Ryan Gosling wearing a t-shirt of Macaulay Culkin.

It didn’t stop there, either – the internet did what it does best and gifted us with Ryan Gosling wearing a t-shirt of Macauley Culkin wearing a t-shirt of Ryan Gosling wearing a t-shirt of Macaulay Culkin. Aaaand breathe.

They’re not the only ones, either…

Rihanna stepped out in a jumper with her own face on. It's her own tour merch, but how do we feel about that?

Kris Jenner’s mother’s day present? Her kids all wore custom designed Kris Jenner t-shirts (this is no DIY print job). Kourt and co wore Kris’s face in the style of rock band KISS – and we now want one.

Kylie Jenner has reached peak Kardashian, wearing a picture of her own face on her t-shirt at Coachella - and we actually kind of like why. It’s actually a picture of King Kylie taken by a friend at a not-so-flattering angle (or at least, Kylie thinks so) – so instead of hate it, she embraced it – and even got the t-shirt.

Ellen Degeneres has been rocking a Justin Bieber sweatshirt loud and proud – she’s 100% a Belieber (and so are we). They do kind of look similar, don’t they?! Now all we need is Justin wearing Ellen.

Justin professed his love for Saved By The Bell’s Kelly Kapowski at the 2011 MuchMusic Awards (the exact t-shirt was on sale in Urban Outfitters, but now lives on eBay). Tiffani Thiessen reciprocated at the Horrible Bosses premiere with Justin Bieber splashed across her chest.
