As the Spring Summer 2014 fashion show schedule reaches the half way point, the style pack are rolling out of London and straight onto Milan Fashion Week.
Think of Milan as the slick layer of cream between a delicious Victoria sponge, it never fails to disappoint and it always tastes amazing.
New York may be the motherland, London the quirky lovechild and Paris the glorious finale, but Milan is not to be missed. The six days of runway action will see the likes of Prada, Versace, Marni, Fendi and Emporio Armani debut their SS14 collections, no doubt in front of an impressive A-list front row – Alexa Chung has already flown out of London.
It’s over to Gucci and Dsquared2 to kick off proceedings on day one, while we’re marking Emilio Pucci and Jil Sander as the must-see shows before Monday.
