New Look has stolen Zara's crown as the number one high-street shopping destination.
In a survey conducted by Dressipi, it was found that 24 per cent of shoppers favoured New Look, with last year's winner Zara coming in a very close second with 23 per cent.
Zara had been steadily climbing up the hierarchy of the high-street in the past few years, helped, in part, by Kate Middleton's love for the brand, and the subsequent 'Kate effect' that her endorsement brings. But it looks like things are changing, and it's New Look's turn to reign supreme.
H&M came in third place, followed by other high street favourites TopShop, Next, River Island, Dorothy Perkins, Primark, Oasis and Mango.
New Look's collaboration with Kelly Brook on an underwear range was cited as on of the reasons for the brand's growing popularity. The store has enjoyed several high-profile collaborations in the past, including collections from Lily Allen and designer Giles Deacon.
Speaking about the success of these store, co-founder Sarah McVittie said: 'Just a year ago, it looked like Zara had the rest of the high street on the run, but the latest figures show that a year is a long time in fashion.'
