stradivarius is coming to the UK

When it comes to shopping for directional pieces at affordable prices, few shops rival Zara. But it looks like its hold over the high street might change once its younger – and cheaper – sister store, Stradivarius, comes to the UK.

For the first time in six years, Inditex – the company that owns Zara, Pull & Bear and Massimo Dutti – is bringing a new brand over here from Spain. Aimed at women between 20 and 35, Stradivarius is for those 'who are too young to dress like their mother's but too sophisticated to dress like teenyboppers,' which is a category we think we fit into very nicely.

With prices starting at around £9.99 for a simple shirt, £19.99 for a dress and the same for trousers, Stradivarius is definitely offering some  purse-friendly stock. But it's the shoes we really love – think sleek, modern block heeled sandals and chic pastel flats. And none hitting above the £59.99 mark. Sold.

Westfield Stratford is the chosen location for the first Stradivarius store, but if you don't want to wait until its opening later this year to pick up a piece of Stradivarius, just visit the website where you can shop to you heart's content.

We think we might have just found our new favourite store...
