Stella McCartney has bagged herself a hot new role; dressing the female tennis players at Wimbledon, which kicks off on Monday the 23rd of June. The designs feature in her latest Adidas by Stella McCartney line, a collaboration she's had major success with season after season, but we reckon that this year's offering is definitely her most exciting yet.

The entirely white range entitled 'barricade' consists of innovative textures and contrasting structures designed to really enhance your game. So much so, three stand-out tennis players from the female division will be getting in on the Stella action come court-time.

Players Caroline Wozniacki, Maria Kirilenko and Andrea Petkovic have come forward as ambassadors for the brand and will exclusively wear the designs for all of their matches in the forthcoming tournament. Speaking of the kit Caroline said: 'This season’s Adidas by Stella McCartney barricade collection is amazing. It doesn't only look great, the functionality of each piece is outstanding. The collection gives me the confidence I need to focus on nothing else but my performance – which ultimately, is what every professional tennis player wants.'

You can really see Stella's roots as a high-end designer come through within the range. There are on-trend bomber jackets, fluted-hem dresses and pelmet skirts to choose from along with fitted tees and racer-back vests, meaning this is one sports collection that doesn't skim on style.

What's more, you can buy the very kit the players wear for yourself, and it's all really affordable too. With tops and skirts starting at £40 and dresses and trainers from £80 upwards, you can bag yourself designer style at a great price and you'll look seriously sleek whilst working up a sweat. We're be trading in our existing gym-kits and upgrading, pronto.
