With Olivia Palermo, Lily Allen and Nicola Roberts heading up the front row, a sun-flooded ex-Eurostar platform serving as a catwalk and a whole new range of quirky cool designs debuted, the latest Unique show was another undeniable hit for the Topshop's high end sister range.
If the show is anything to go by, then next season is all about high voltage 70s glamour. The latest collection was defined by the fun, flirtatious and otherworldly, with flowy ink-stained chiffon dresses, cropped bell bottoms and asymmetric metallic skirts making their way down the runway, all topped with HUGE crimped 'dos and devilishly red pouts.
Design manager, Emma Farrow sights a mystical influence behind the latest collection: 'we wanted to get the idea of a scattering of fairy dust over everything, so we've used lots of crystals and mythical creatures'.

Make-up artist Hannah Murray opted for a disco-glam look to finish the 70s-inspired silhouettes, and reveals that bold lips were key: ‘With a strong focus on the lips, eyes were kept barely there. A single application of the new Spring/Summer ‘11 Trend Crayon in Rose Gold was placed in the inner corner of the eyes for a wide awake gaze.'
To achieve the look, watch out for these products to drop in store at Topshop next season:
Lips in Daredevil, Gloss in Cardinal Sin, Skin Tint in Dark Skin Glow and Dark Radiance Bronzer 2
Top tip from Hannah: to add definition apply bronzer below rather than across the cheekbones.
