If you thought getting into Fort Knox was tricky, try the Victoria’s Secret Fashion show. Layers of security guards with sniffer dogs, banks of clipboard-wielding PRs and at least seven ‘ticket please Ma’am’ ushers had to be navigated before you could claim your seat in the cavernous Armory show venue in Manhattan on Tuesday night.

In the end it was Ellie who delivered one of the highlights of the night: a beautiful rendition of Love Me Like You Do in front of a huge white wooden façade, under a shower of fake snow.
As ever with a Victoria’s Secret show, the looks were cheerfully ridiculous, featuring giant American flags, surf boards, rotating wheels of feathers and even LED fireworks.
And unlike other fashion shows, the models smiled, waved, high fived each other and blew kisses into the crowd. The positive atmosphere was infectious. By the end of the show everyone (including us) was on their feet.
