Victoria Beckham has just announced that she is turning her hand to the high street, collaborating on a limited-edition collection with American uber-retailer Target. Victoria is the next in a long line of designer collaborations for Target, with past designers including Rodarte, Missoni and Alexander McQueen.

VB x Target will drop on April 9th 2017 in store and at Target.com, on sale until April 30th or until the collection sells out. The collab, which is the result of years of talks between the two brands, will include clothes, accessories and, most excitingly, kidswear for the first time. Yes, we want to dress all our daughters like Harper Beckham.

The collection will include over 200 items priced between $6 and $70, and will also range from sizes from XS to 3X, setting a great and inclusive example for fashion brands and retailers everywhere. Target have added a sneaky note to say that not all Target stores would carry the collection in all sizes, although these are all shoppable on the website.

Victoria Beckham’s own website will also stock select items from the Target collaboration, meaning international shoppers can get in on the action. But if you’re hoping for shoes and handbags, you’ll have to stick to Victoria Beckham’s mainline collection – there will be none in this Target line.

Speaking exclusively to the Business of Fashion, Victoria stated ‘The timing just felt right. I’ve made no secret of the fact that I wanted to put a collection out there for people who either can’t afford designer prices or don’t want to pay designer prices. It was really looking at…when I had the time to be as involved as I like to be with every single project I take on.’
This collection comes after Victoria’s collaborations with Nails Inc and Estee Lauder.
