Ever wanted style advice from some of the top designers and names in the fashion industry? Of course you have.
While very few of us has Karl Lagerfeld on speed dial, the next time you're stuck deliberating over whether or not you should pair that skirt with those shoes, and no-one's there to tell you, turn to the CFDA's new tome The Pursuit Of Style for help.
Released on 15 April, the new book, with a foreword by Dian von Furstenberg, promises advice and musings from America's top designers.
Donna Karan, Ralph Lauren, Narciso Rodriguez and Zac Posen have all offered their insights and thoughts on everything from career advice to wardrobe essentials.
Jessica Alba, who has contributed the introduction to the book, says: 'For all that our clothes can say about us, we know so little about the inspirations and aspirations of the designers themselves'.
'Through touching personal stories and funny quips, this book shows the character and standards of style of some of the brightest stars in American fashion as they give their simple advice on what matters the most: passion, creativity and being the best version of yourself you can possibly be.'
