With the recent Peter Pilotto for Target collaboration proving a success, the American store has announced another very exciting new designer partnership, this time with New York Fashon Week designer, Joseph Altuzarra.
And thankfully – because we'll definitely be wanting a piece of this action – Net-a-Porter will once again be stocking the 28-piece collection from September 14th, so us Brits don't have to go without.
Where the Peter Pilotto collaboration was all about fresh, youthful graphic patterns and shapes, you can expect something more grown-up and sophisticated from 31-year-old Altuzzara, a designer known for his feminine tailoring and slinky silhouettes.
Since he launched his eponymous label in 2008 (following stints at Marc Jacobs and Proenza Schouler), Altuzarra's fan club has grown to include most of Hollywood. Everyone from Jennifer Lawrence to Nicole Kidman to Lupita Nyong'o has worn one of his dresses on the red carpet – and it's not hard to see why the designer has become such a firm A-list favourite.
'As a designer, I believe firmly in the transformative power of fashion. It has the ability to not only change how you look, but also how you feel,' said Joseph Altuzarra. 'I've admired the elegance that Target brings to fast fashion. By working together on this capsule collection, we hope to instill a sense of power, confidence and beauty in women everywhere.'
