The jeweller, who counts the likes of Christina Aguilera, Kate Moss and Johnny Depp among his A-list fans, welcomed guests to the new boutique on Mount Street to browse his latest collection of fine jewellery whilst sipping Perrier Jouet champagne and dining on bespoke Stephen Webster cupcakes.
Naturally, his VIP guests were then whisked off by coach to London hotspot Maddox, where they were treated to a luxurious three-course dinner.
"It's really exciting and emotional to finally be able to open a proper flagship store in London," the Brit designer said at the launch. "Instead of that tiny cupboard we were working from before. I was beginning to feel a bit elitist!"
The London boutique is one of twenty other Stephen Webster stores worldwide, and was designed by his close friend, interior designer Kelly Hoppen. With plenty of dark glittering decor, a jewel encrusted crocodile head on the counter, and a central display case designed to look like a snake's spine, it's all very Stephen Webster, and pretty darn fabulous. We can think of no better setting to show off those spectacular creations of his.
