Having won the Newgen's catwalk sponsorship prize, designers Simone Rocha and JW Anderson will be given a runway slot at London Fashion Week in February to show their autumn winter 2013 collections.
The prize is awarded by the British Fashion council, and having been granted to the likes of Alexander McQueen, Christopher Kane and Mark Katrantzou in the past, Simone and Jonathan are in good company.
Caroline Rush, the BFC’s CEO notes: "You only have to look at the roll call of talent that has graduated through Newgen to know that these names are the future stars of British fashion."
It's already been a successful year for Jonathan, as he's launched a sell-out collaboration at Topshop, and lined up another with Versus next year.
It's the second time that Simone has been awarded the prize, and along the way she's found a super fan in Alexa Chung who wore one of her lacy apertifs to the British Fashion Awards.
Expect to see plenty more from these designers.
