Ever strolled through the streets of the Big Apple and wondered what it is that makes New York women so put together? The answer is a Kate Spade bag.

Lucky for us, the handbags famed for their vintage-inspired shapes, luxe leathers and ladylike embellishments are paying us a visit on this side of the pond with the arrival of the Kate Spade pop-up shop in Covent Garden.

Located on Henrietta Street, the two-floor boutique will boast four rooms, decorated to look like the typical Kate Spade girl's apartment and feature a mouth-watering array of arm candy, from the leopard number (pictured) already spotted on Sienna Miller to the dainty jewel-coloured clutches.

Also look out for pretty ballerina flats and chic, retro-inspired clothing - we've got our eyes on the leopard print swing jacket - it's oh-so a/w 10!

But what kind of a move would this be without a housewarming party? Luckily a celebrity-studded party has been planned, with guests including Amber Le Bon and Ben Grimes, both of whom will be DJing alongside The Like. We think Miss Spade has officially found a new home!

The Kate Spade pop-up shop opens on Wednesday 13 October.
