Selfridges launch vintage couture pop up store with WilliamVintage

Love vintage, adore couture? WilliamVintage launches pop up shop at Selfridges…

Dior, Lanvin, Balenciaga and Givenchy – just a handful of the hottest designers featuring in the WilliamVintage couture pop up store opening in Selfridges from 18 June.

Shoppers will need to be quick to get their hands on the fashion treats though as this is only a four-week pop up store.

Founder of WilliamVintage, William Banks-Blaney says of the collaboration: “I am delighted that WilliamVintage is available in the legendary Selfridges department store and so proud to see our rare vintage discoveries alongside some of the greatest contemporary collections.”

The collection boasts some of the finest vintage haute couture in fashion history including a Balenciaga haute couture three-piece suit from the Winter 1954 collection - identical to one which is kept in the Balenciaga Museum in Madrid as well as an Oscar de la Renta mini dress from 1968 in lime green, silver and with a gold braid.

If you’re really after something unique or would even just like to have a look to soak up a bit of fashion history then make your way to Selfridges before mid-July!
