The British heritage brand teased us back in September with a picture of the 12-year-old aspiring model in his second Burberry role, but only now have we got to see the final ad.
Taking the stylised snowy streets and beautifully illuminated landmarks of London as its setting, the campaign follows Romeo 'delivering the gift of love to a young couple, taking him on a journey of wonder, romance and festive enchantment.' Never has the young Beckham's Shakespeare-inspired name been more appropriate. (Although we hope this Burberry couple don't meet such tragic ends as Romeo and Juliet.)
Dressed in the traditional Burbs checked scarf and Heritage trench, with a matching umbrella, young Romeo looks incredibly dapper in his starring role, while the girls look incredible in layers of champagne-coloured tulle and mini trench capes.
And as usual, Burberry has used this opportunity to champion British music, using a specially written and recorded song by Ed Harcourt as the soundtrack to the ad.
It may only be November, but we think we've already found this year's winning Christmas ad. And we'll definitely be downloading Hardcourt's track on iTunes when it becomes available in December.
And one thing's for sure: Victoria Beckham is going to be one very proud mum right now…
