Rihanna Gives Dior Its Edgiest (And Most On-Point) Campaign To Date

Rihanna's full-length fashion film for Dior has *finally* been revealed and it's as beaut as you'd expect...

Rihanna has made fashion history this week as the images from her Dior campaign have finally been released, making her the first ever black woman to front the fashion house's seasonal adverts and, as you'd expect, they're downright gorgeous.

In honour of the luxury label's fourth instalment of its Secret Garden series, the couturier tapped the 27-year-old songstress and fashion icon no doubt in a bid to make its merch appeal to a younger demographic and by the looks of the edgy shots, it'll do just that.

In the first image, RiRi can be seen smouldering to the camera rocking a super plunging, faux fur dress, sexy red elbow-length gloves, a tulle veil across her face and one of the brand's key handbags of the season. What did we tell you? GORGE.

However, in breaking news, we've just got our hands on the full length version of the campaign's film! Check it out below:

Eerily walking up a grand staircase in time to keys played on the piano, the clip is intense. And the rest of the campaign imagery certainly follows suit...

Another image shows Rihanna being devoured by more of Dior's hottest AW15 arm candy as she sports some seriously fierce shades and a blood red pout.

Adding to the atmospheric vibe of the campaign is another shot which shows Rihanna running through the Palace of Versailles in Paris with her stunning claret gown billowing behind her. Yep, we're in a high fashion dream right now.

The importance of the campaign and what it means for diversity in fashion hasn't escaped the Bitch Better Have Money singer either, as her passionate comments prove...

Speaking about the campaign for the first time, Rihanna said: 'It feels fantastic. It is such a big deal for me, for my culture, for a lot of young girls of any colour.' And we couldn't agree more.

She went on to say: 'I think, to be acknowledged by Dior is just, it means a lot as a woman to feel beautiful, and elegant, and timeless.'

While these pics are beaut, what we're REALLY looking forward to is the fashion film that's set to follow. As we said, the campaign is centred around Dior's Secret Garden series which focus' primarily on video. We may have to wait until the 25th of May to see it in full, but this teaser is definitely enough to keep us going until then.

Enjoy your Rihanna fix!
