Opening Ceremony hits London with a little American-themed fun at the launch party!
If you thought you were psyched for the Olympics opening ceremony, you haven’t seen anything yet! Opening Ceremony, the New York-based concept fashion store and label that has been taking the world by storm, has finally landed in London. Aptly named for the creators’ love of the Olympics, the store is known for its fresh, fun décor and amazing collaborations with cool designers Chloë Sevigny, Timberland, Keds and Robert Clergerie, to name a few.
To celebrate, Opening Ceremony threw a super glam launch party, sponsored by CIROC Ultra Premium Vodka, at its pop-up store in Covent Garden. The American-themed nosh was passed out from food vans, including mini-hamburgers, coleslaw, and yummy mac’ n’ cheese.
The delectable menu wasn’t the only eye candy spotted at the event. Stunning model Cara Delevingne was spotted sizzling for the camera with tousled blonde locks and designer Dominic Jones on her arm.
The boys didn’t let us down on the style front either, as quirky fashion designer Henry Holland wore an eye-catching matching shirt-short set with a bold lilac pattern.
Opening Ceremony’s official London storefront does not open until October, but don’t fear on missing out, as the pop-up is here to stay throughout the Olympics and until the permanent store opens.
