Our Executive Fashion Director Nick Spensley fills us in on what’s been happening this week
Fancy having a kitten to play with in your lunch hour?
I’m sure at some point soon UA (Uber Annonymous) sessions will start opening up and I will be there, because, well…. I admit it. I am addicted to Uber. My bank balance hates me for it. I spend far too much time on the app and now I have even more reason to. Uber is now offering the option to deliver kittens to your office for some kitten cuddling action in your lunch hour. If you love your new friend enough they are available for adoption through rescue shelters AND Uber will be matching all donations given through the app. The only downside is that the service is only offered in the US and Australia right now, but it’s only a matter of time until it hits London.
The Return of Sophie Ellis Bextor
Not only is Sophie Ellis Bextor back on the scene with a sizzling new album, but she is fronting the new Phase Eight campaign looking absolutely incredible. It’s never too early to be thinking about what to wear for those Spring weddings.
EAST teams up with the Thea Porter 70s Bohemian Chic Exhibition
To celebrate Thea Porter’s first ever exhibition at the Fashion and Textile Museum, EAST have launched a capsule collection of gorgeous pieces inspired by the original founder of ‘boho chic’. We are loving this cotton tunic dress. Available now in EAST stores or www.east.co.uk
On the bicycle hunt
Christmas may be over but that bit of extra Christmas weight is still not shifting so I am on the search for a new bicycle. If i’m honest i’m not too sure what tech specs I should be looking for, but I want it to look good and be easy to ride! Step in US brand Shinola which ticks all the boxes. All bikes hand assembled in their Detroit flagship store. Order now from www.shionola.co.uk
