This week, Mulberry introduces another new member to its handbag family: Tessie.
And while we're always excited when a new style joins the Mulberry clan, we're especially intrigued by this one – mainly for its not-so-eye-watering price point.
With prices starting at £495 for the Small Satchel, and ending at £695, the Tessie collection isn't exactly what you might call cheap, but compared to other styles – the Alexa or Del Ray which can set you back up to £1200 – it's certainly at the more affordable end of the spectrum.
Designed by the in-house design team (since the label is still on the lookout for a new creative director), Tessie comes in four different styles – Hobo, Satchel, Tote and Clutch – all of which are available in six classic colour ways including black, oak, poppy red, orange, midnight blue and oxblood.
Plus, the minimalist, fuss-free bags are unlikely to date quickly, which makes the price tag even more appealing.
That's not to say we won't have to scrimp on the cocktails for a bit if we want a Tessie on our arm. Better start saving...
