A British Fashion Award, a new flagship store and a 38 per cent rise in revenues makes Mulberry THE brand of the moment

What a week it’s been for Mulberry! On Monday they opened their new flagship store at 50 new Bond Street, on Tuesday they scooped the gong for Designer Brand of the Year at the British Fashion Awards and on Thursday they announced a 38 per cent rise in revenues!


And next week will see the label opening their first store in Sydney and reopening their Manchester store - all proof positive that the classic British label is set to take over the world.

From the ubiquitous Alexa handbag (the piece that singlehandedly revived the trend for satchels) to the glorious spring/summer collection that put a glamorous, ladylike spin on the Seventies, Mulberry is continuously tapping into the trends we love even before we know to love them.

It’s no surprise their retail sales are up 30%. In the words of designer Emma Hill at the British Fashion Awards: “Go Mulberries!”
