So far Milan Fashion Week Spring Summer 2013 has played out to a stylish tune with fashion shows from Gucci, Alberta Ferretti, Moschino and Prada, and this weekend fashion big guns like Versace, Sportmax and Dolce & Gabbana are sure to have show-goers on the edge of their seats.
So far everything from underwater to geisha girls and safari have seen moments in the sartorial spotlight, and today things took a groovy direction with Moschino playing homage to the swinging '60s.
Hair was high and hemlines were short, with silhouettes ranging from boxy boucle suits to high-neck shifts. There was a strong presence of the brand's signature monochrome, as well as girly baby-pink and buttercup-yellows. Gauze flowers tacked onto hems and broderie anglaise detail added to the charm and continued what Prada started yesterday with its blooming kimono dresses. Flower-power is shaping up to be Milan signature for Spring!
