Meet the stars of new Channel 4 documentary, Fabulous Fashionistas
Cancel your Tuesday night plans - the Fabulous Fashionistas are taking over Channel 4 in impeccable style.
With an average age of 80, these six women are shaking up the way society considers style and old age.
Learning how to rock a patent pair of Dr Martens may not seem like a priority after your angsty teenage youth, but Bridget, Daphne, Jean, Gillian, Sue and Lady Trumpington have other ideas.
Opening their wardrobes for a new Cutting Edge documentary, Fabulous Fashionistas explores the art of ‘staying young’ - both mentally and physically. And looking amazing in the process.
They boast an impressive CV between them too, having varied backgrounds in fashion and politics.
You may recognise 75-year-old Bridget Sojourner from her blog, Advanced Style, while Daphne Selfe, 85, is also known for being the ‘world’s oldest supermodel’ and the current face of Tk Maxx.
Lady Trumpington holds the political card; now 91, she became the oldest ever woman to be appointed a Government minister.
As if you needed more reason to tune in, these inspiring women are full of confidence-boosting tips whatever your age.
Sue Kreitzman even has a jacket collection to rival Mary Berry…
Fabulous Fashionistas airs tonight (17 September) at 10pm on Channel 4. JB
