Marks and Spencer has revealed its new Leading Ladies campaign, representing 'the unique and diverse women of a modern Britain.'
From pop stars to a life peer, the new advert shows eight new faces wearing the store's spring collection.
Taking centre stage is Rita Ora, with Emma Thompson stood on her right. On the far left is campaigner and life peer Baroness Lawrence of Clarendon OBE, the mother of Stephen Lawrence who was murdered in 1993.
Pop star Annie Lennox, supermodel Alek Wek, chef Rachel Khoo, fashion designer Lulu Kennedy and structural engineer Roma Agrawal – who helped design the Shard– also all star in the campaign.
Shot by renowned photographer Annie Leibovitz on several different idyllic locations around Britain, including Camber Sands and the Cotswolds, we reckon this is one of our favourite M&S ads yet.
'These dynamic Leading Ladies represent the unique and diverse women of a modern Britain. They are united in their extraordinary achievements but confident in their differences,' the brand said of the shoot.
'M&S is extremely proud to have convened such an extraordinary group of exceptional women; this campaign is the embodiment of true British style, quality, diversity and success’
We would have to agree...
