Marc Jacobs is set to be the talk of New York Fashion Week, with the launch of a seriously unique pop-up shop.
The coveted designer, who recently revealed Miley Cyrus as the face of Spring Summer 2014, is said to be making plans to open a 'social tweet shop' which allows fashion fans to pay for his wares with tweets, Facebook posts and Instagram updates.
According to Fashionista, the concept store will launch during February's fashion week to support the launch of the American designer's new Daisy fragrance.
Dubbed the Daisy Marc Jacobs Tweet Shop, social users who post using #MJDaisyChain will be offered freebies in exchange, with the best daily Instagram photo winning one lucky user a Marc Jacobs handbag. Hello.
A lounge, nail art area and photobooth are also said to be part of the pop-up store, expected to be open between February 7-9. Free Wi-Fi comes as standard, according to reports.
The Marc Jacobs brand are also said to be marking January 28 as 'Daisy Day', giving beauty buffs further cause to celebrate the popular scents.
Marc Jacobs loves to go above and beyond where he fragrance campaigns are concerned (and his catwalk shows, for that matter), having teamed up with Google Maps for a previous Honey launch.
The social aspect means you can get involved without bagging a ticket to NYFW too. Watch this space.
