Marc Jacobs SS13
3.1 Phillip Lim SS13
It was a fashion-filled day in New York with the likes of The Row, Carolina Herrera, Reem Acra and Marc Jacobs all presenting their Spring Summer 2013 collections and the A-listers were out in full force to take a sneak peek.
Designer twins Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen went all out to present a collection in which simplicity was key in the glamorous environs of The Carlyle Hotel. Light, flowing, pleated fabrics inwhites, blush pinks and rich navies proved worth waking up for so early in the morning.
Karlie Kloss, Cara Delevingne and Lindsey Wixon, meanwhile, were on hand at Carolina Herrera to unveil a contemporary collection complete with pipe-lined blazers, sharp collars and minimalist digi-print.

It was an altogether sterner atmosphere at Theysken’s Theory with navy and black predominating a collection filled with slick tailoring and LBDs but Donna Karan lightened the mood with light linen dresses and chiffon gowns.
Patchwork denim and print work was a delight to see in a cool casual colletion at 3.1 Phillip Lim before the dreamy red carpet dresses cascaded down the catwalk at Reem Acra.
And bringing proceedings to a close in a way only he knows how, Marc Jacobs did a flip turn from his AW12 collection to present a series of slinky monochrome dresses, silky tops and ruffle neck pea coats. Amazing!
