It's time to put all that selfie practice to good use, as it was announced that the hunt is on for the star of the next Marc by Marc Jacobs campaign on Instagram.
Katie HIllier and Luella Bartley – joint creative directors of the brand – are searching social media for their first Marc by Marc face. Jacobs is no stranger to casting off beat models in his campaigns – 64-year-old Jessica Lange is the current star of Marc Jacobs beauty, and the designer has also used Victoria Beckham's legs and Winona Ryder in past ads.
Aspiring Marc Jacobs models are engorged to upload pictures of themselves to the social networking site using the hashtag #CastMeMarc. The competition launched on 2 April, and has already seen a flurry of activity.
Some entries are obviously from seasoned pros, while others are more humorous. And we've already spotted a few feline faces that are vying for attention. Time to get snapping...
